My brother is yes my brother is buried there my grandparents are buried there and a few of my friends are buried there as well
I didn't believe that I would be able to ever see where my great grandparents were buried . thanks to Google Maps that changed. . .i haven't been able to walk into the cemetery I have been able to see the cemetery which is more than I could ever imagine. It's beautiful. the whole entire Kansas City area is just gorgeous.

I have visited this cemetery COUNTLESS times at ALL times of day and night. When I had to bury my baby son I knew this was the place. The groundskeeper/manager at that time, Lee, was very real, down to earth, and helpful. There was no BS with him. I host a scavenger hunt in this cemetery every year as my Halloween celebration and memorial to my infant son. Lee was on board. The new manager/.groundskeeper (as of 2012) is also complacent with this. The police have stopped by a few times but only to ensure we arent causing damage to the stones. This is where the one star deduction come in. Sadly there is plenty of destruction to stones out there, however I think much of it is from a long time ago as there has been no destruction on my own headstone since I placed it in 2007/2008. All in all this a beautiful peaceful place, particularly when graveyards with artistic freedom are harder to come by (aka most are requiring a certain headstone look to make it all uniform and neat, which takes away from a cemetery's beauty in my opinion)
The people hair at Mount St Mary's do a beautiful job of taking care of the cemetery. As well as they taking care of our family history. What an absolute thrill. I hope to be able to visit in person someday but thank you. For allowing me to be able to step back in time.
