Of course you get great deals at Aldi's, but my two star rating is for a couple of reasons. Today while shopping I wanted some packaged fresh spinach. There was only ONE container in the whole cooler that didn't look as though it was going bad. Secondly, and this is not just this Aldi's - other stores have been this way too. The staff is rude and acts as though they're doing you a favor by letting you shop there. Today there was a worker with a skid right in the middle of the produce aisle talking to another worker. I was trying to get produce where they were blocking. Do you think they apologized and moved out of my way??! Not a chance. In fact they just kept talking and acted as though I wasn't there. Incredibly poor service. Makes paying slightly higher prices at a regular grocery store worth it.
Prices may be great on somethings that is when they have enough in stock! Our local Aldi store is almost always out of sale ad items the first day! I'm sorry not everyone can shop on the same day the ad comes out or that their ad comes in the mail a day or two AFTER the sale started. Another issue is items not being marked to show the price!!
I love the move towards more organic and healthy foods. The ground beef it the best deal in town they have organic free range no hormone or antibiotic meat for way less than everyone around. We love it!!
Dropped in in response to a Thanksgiving ad that had a smoking hot price on hams. Parking is close and easy Store was super busy, Clean and organized. Found the ham quickly and moved to the checkout where things slowed down. Took about 10 minutes to get checked out, and the ham was very good.
Store is always clean and I love the prices. They don't have everything you could ever need but that's how the prices are so great! I love their skim milk and frozen pizzas, produce can be hit or miss in the winter but I can always find good food!
