An excellent fresh meat counter. I have prior meat cutter experience in a competing grocery store. Price Chopper has meat cutters in the stores instead of bringing in meat already cut up miles and miles away. Like a special cut--there is a professional meat cutter to do it on the spot.
This price chopper is a nice one. Like to come here to get my food but the produce is not always keep up on that is on down fall. And here is some good news there is a Starbucks inside.
Very large, well stocked price chopper. I went here the day before Christmas eve and it was really busy but the lines weren't long, they were efficient and had several self checkout lanes open as well. They even have a dollar aisle here. The prescriptions are the most expensive around tho unfortunately compared to wall greens, Walmart and even Hy-Vee. They're about as expensive as CVS and don't accept any type of prescription savings cards.
From the Starbucks in the store entry to the great bakery and deli, this place is truly one stop shopping. Visit their floral deparment for a little pick-me-up. If that doesn't work, there's always the great selection of their liquor department. So much is in store at this Price Chopper!!
It is a good grocery. Sometimes the produce is hit or miss as far as freshness is concerned. From time to time the lines have been ridiculously long and they will have just one open lane with the self-check outs. Overall, it isn't bad and the discount program is an added bonus. There is a Starbucks inside.
