Moved from out of state and went here today to get my new license plates and drivers license. Overall a good experience due to Crystal and Rayann being so friendly, efficient and helpful. I was expecting a horrible experience based solely on the awful excuse for a parking lot out front. I must have circled 5 times and had to end up parking blocks away. These 2 ladies were great, and it made the trip to the DMV a little less painful :)
A very efficient and painless experience, all thanks to Crystal! I brought in way more paperwork than required as I wasn’t entirely sure what all I needed; she quickly sorted out the necessary documents and was taking my picture within minutes. Took no longer than 10 minutes, and if I wasn’t so chatty Crystal would have had me out in 5.
The lady that "helped" me gave horrible service. I bought my car when I was at a Kansas address, but am now trying to register at my new address in Missouri since my 60 day tag is expiring soon. Apparently since I paid sales tax in ks and not Missouri, I'd have to pay double sales tax for Missouri to register it here. But she didn't say that, she just kept saying I needed this document without offering any explanation of what the document was other than the title of it. All I wanted was answers to my questions about that document, but what I got was bitchiness and her claiming that I was questioning her on how to do her job. Answering questions and giving good customer service is part of the job, so I suppose I agree that she doesn't know how to do her job. There's no reason to blow up like that on a reasonable customer.
Having read the terrible reviews here I was anxious about the experience I may have, however, what a pleasant surprise and experience! New to the State and with 2 cars to register plus 2 Driver's licenses to get, I did double check, on line ahead of time, the required paperwork. We used the QLess App as recommended by others and also used the system in the waiting area to get in line for our Driver 's Licenses. Our wait was less than 15 minutes once there and Rayanne, who registered our cars was polite and good humored, even though it was almost 5pm. Trevor, I think was his name, who then processed our Driver's license, was equally pleasant and helpful. Kudos to this office for doing a great job at a busy time, the end of a month/beginning of the next, and for having professional and polite staff.
