Extremely friendly and wonderful synagogue. Great for new comers and those looking for a temple close to home.
Warm and welcoming congregation. Loved the worship. I visited as part of a homework on a World's religions class and they were very helpful. His words: "Everyone is welcomed here". Rabbi Alan, his wife Jane and the congregation were just wonderful! Thank you!
Most welcoming congregation in the city. Not sure what is up with Hammy. A. It's a synagogue and not a church, and B. Well . . . There are way more white Jews than Black or Hispanic, that's just the demographics of the American Jewish populace. We have an African American woman who comes periodically on a Friday night and we have a immigrant from Somalia that comes. But we welcome everyone. I would encourage anyone who is curious about Judaism to start here. We would love to see you. We have Shabbat services on Friday night at 6 and bagels, coffee, and Torah study at 9 A.M. on Saturdays.
