We had dinner later upstairs and had the most delectable filet medallions that literally melted in our mouths like chocolate truffles! Our waiter was absolutely fantastic and even helped us find a charge for our phone!! He literally bent over backwards to help us with everything! Overall a spectacular fun evening with lots of good food, great wine & lots of laughter
The dinner I give a 2/5. Overall not a pleasant experience. Took nearly an hour from ordering to get our food.
Nice place to gather friends for wine and conversation. The ambiance was great especially in the evening. I ordered the Fish and Chips for my entree with a side of Braised Kale. The Kale was good but the fish was fried a little too hard for my preference. Overall everything was good especially the Nightjar Sangria. The sevice was good too. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would definitely go again.
We became wine club members shortly after the opening of Cooper's Hawk in December 2012 and we used to enjoy coming here for wine tastings and dinner. Yes, we have spent a lot of money here. In the past it was always nice to be remembered when we would visit and to feel like our business was appreciated. That being said, there now seems to be a constant staff turnover and the staff are not quality staff like you would hope for on the plaza. We stood waiting for a wine tasting tonight for almost 45 minutes and the first come first serve was a joke. We were never even offered a glass a wine while we waited. There was no system and very disorganized. We simply don't feel like we are getting the same quality of service and leave frustrated instead of having an enjoyable evening. We are seriously considering cancelling our membership. It's just not the same anymore.
Do not go here on the weekend. The wait is insanely long. I got surf and turf (medallions and salmon). The beef medallions were delicious. On the other hand, the salmon was awful. The only flavor it has came from the glaze on it. Otherwise incredibly dry. For the price I definitely expected better. Sides were meh. My green beans were practically raw. The mash potatoes are more like potato chunks?
My wife enjoyed her Parmesan crusted chicken. They forgot to bring out a side dish too.
If you like wine and delicious food this is definitely the place for you! We came an hour before our dinner reservation to enjoy their "monthly tasting" which consisted of a great variety of 6 different wines! We had no wait and our pourer was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines, which made our experience fun and educational. We enjoyed it so much that we signed up for their wine club! Which is a fantastic deal by the way!
I'm giving it 3/5 total because the wine is quite good. I'm not a wine person at all but i found the reds to be espescially tasty.
Wow....what an amazing experience! First off our waiter, Joshua, was phenomenal and made the total experience. We both got choices he recommended and let him pick out our dessert a total surprise. We’ll definitely be coming back.
