Love the French press coffees here. Amazing flavor selection and the menu always has some pleasant surprises. Great spot.
Service was great and management was awesome. The bartenders are really nice and have great customer service. It was down pouring, and our umbrella was stolen by some passers by. The bartenders went out of their way to give us one of theirs after seeing it happen. Absolutely blown away. I will definitely be back for another amazing Irish coffee.
We stopped in at the beginning of happy hour and were seated right away as the restaurant was not busy. Our server was not friendly and had no knowledge of the happy hour menu. She left our table twice to ask questions. We did not receive our drinks for 20 minutes after arriving and when we did, they were awful. We cashed out right away and went to find somewhere better to spend our money.
We sat outside on a beautiful day. My wife got the French Dip and I got the Shrimp and Grits. We both had a glass of the Golden Sangria. My wife was thoroughly unimpressed with her meal. "Meh" was about the best I could get from her but it wasn't bad. I LOVED my Shrimp and Grits. It was fantastically spicy on the shrimp side and creamy on the grits side. Loved it.
Up until this year my rating would have absolutely been a 5. I have special dietary needs and would always call ahead to let them know we would be in and that I would be bringing a list of the foods I could eat. In the past the staff had been extremely helpful and I always had a fabulous meal. Twice this year the service and food preparation has been extremely poor. In August we went there for our anniversary, calling in beforehand to warn them. The restaurant had maybe 5% of the tables filled. The wait staff person wouldn't even touch my list. It was only after the manager on duty came by that the food list was taken back to the food preparation area. Even with them reading through the list twice, I ended up with food components that I couldn't eat. My husband's meal was also poorly prepared. We will not be returning.
