I called corporate and they refunded me $50 of the cleaning fee and the 3 days and late fee.

They charged me a $100 for pet hair. Yes my dogs were in the car but I vacuumed the hatch back really well. I dropped it off after hours and when I went to dispute the charges the manager told me the seats were laid down and dog hair was everywhere. Bullshit! Because my infant was in the back seat when we dropped the car off. So how could the seats have been laid down?! They also said I could drop the car off at 1:20 pm on a Saturday (they closed at noon) because when I rented the car I rented it at 1:20pm. They charged me an additional 3 days and a late fee.
We booked car rental online to 2200 Main address, which is not location that been open for 2 or more years. Could not find the location so we called just to be put on hold for over 10min. We decided to drive to the other location in the area and ask for directions. The lady then tells me that Crown Center old location and they don’t even have a store at that location any more. They don’t know why hertz online never removed the location. So online booked me with this address but because we was driving around looking for the location and was not there right at 3pm they cancelled the car rental and give the car to another person. They had no other cars that we wanted. If you don’t book your rental with more than a week out they will not have the car you want or no cars at all. I booked car at the Crown Center location and had no problem but both rental i did this year have been very bad.
Rented a car for trip, paid my tolls and have hard copy receipts of all, Yet they still pulled $20 from my account over a month after rental and claim it was in contract. They refuse to accept my receipts and pretty much told me oh well. Will never use again, suggest ya'll don't either unless you like fake charges.
Stay away from Hertz, or at least this location! If you absolutely have to rent from them take a video of your return if it's after hours. Record the inside then record you locking the doors and putting the keys in the key drop. Then to be safe record you going back to the car checking that it's locked.
Horrible service. Reserved a car online to pick up at this location, took an Uber ride to this location, then the man behind the counter said he had no cars. He did not offer any help to figure out how we were going to get a car. He merely shrugged his shoulders literally and said, "This happens on the website." He didn't say anything else to us. He just looked at us silently. I will make sure everyone I know stays away from this location specifically and possibly from Hertz altogether.
