This is a hidden gem in KCMO. We stumbled upon it while cycling on Brush Creek. Very well designed park, walking trails, and nature area.
My first visit. An seminar abour apiculture. Went well. Meeting area not well designated. Once located was clean, well lit. Sound systen very adequate. Clean restrooms.
A beautiful park along Brush Creek. The Anita Gorman Discovery Center is at the east end along with a community garden and parking for Project Living Proof. The gardens behind the discovery center are all native plants. Irrigation comes from a living machine inside the center. A performance and event area is located at the west end of the park across from the Nelson Atkins Museum. A beautiful small botanical garden is on Rockhill Rd across from the Kauffman Foundation.
