We've been taking Wildlife to the Center for many years and they always take great care and let us know when they rehabilitate the animal. I highly recommend for any type of Wildlife that needs Rehabilitation. Last year the mama possum died underneath of some rocks in our backyard and we took them eight of those baby possums which were rehabilitated just a few months ago.
I really enjoyed the Lakeside Nature Center. 3 eagles, 3 owls 2 Turkey Vultures Red tailed Hawk. Made me feel at peace.
We found a pigeon that could not fly. I REALLY wanted to give it to somebody who was professional and could get it to eat and fly back to it's natural habitat but we walked around that place for a half hour and was not greeted by anyone. We even knocked on a door in the back that read "For Personnel only" So robbers, thieves or anyone who might want some animals or free stuff., there may be cars in the lot but if you were that type person you could definitely help yourself. Guess they are lucky, we were not. They do have some awesome looking displays, however.
