Probably one of the best park in Kansas City. Very close to the plaza. It's pretty big and has good trail to walk or run. The pond with fountains and tons of ducks is really nice.
It is a beautiful rose garden that is absolutely worth a visit when coming to Kansas city. The only downside is that since it is a beautiful place, there are a lot of people having their pictures taken, wedding ceremonies or proms that can be a little annoying during summer.
When I leave home for a long period of time and return, I always look forward to coming back to Kansas City's best rose garden. It says Welcome Home. Especially on a beautiful early morning. I also, enjoy it in the late evenings. Thank you, for the great up keep of God's beauty.
Get your camera ready and take really nice shots here. It is a nice place.
Love this place. It served as a safe haven through the rain MO and KS was having Sunday. I didn't think I was going to find a photography shooting location. I was very pleased.
