Very kid friendly atmosphere had a blast the park was very nice and well kept

It's a quite place to take a walk on the lengthy and well-maintained trails, sit on a bench, feed the geese, or whatever. Kansas City Parks does stock this monthly with Catfish in the spring and summer months. There are also some bass and crappie although I am not sure if these are stocked regularly if at all. There are plenty of bluegill in here too to keep kids happy catching fish consistently as well. If you do plan on fishing, I recommend you read the regulations which can be picked up for free at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods dept, or online (search Missouri State Fishing regulations for the current year). Only drawback is there is no bathroom or even a port-a-potty here...
