Wood Ridge Park is close to highway 169 and Barry Road, north of the river. You drive through a city of apartment buildings to get to it. You can park in a cul-de-sac on NW 77th Terrace. There are dirt trails through rough chaotic woods. Saw a turkey and a deer. One of those places where the sounds of the city are all around you, but you would swear you're in the middle of nowhere.
