Amazing with my dog! He came out so happy and seemed to loved the people there. This was my first time (my vet recommended this place) and I noticed the workers even knew a lady and her dog by name right when she came in the door after me . That is special.
I would have liked to put no star. I took my dog to have her nails clipped. I am trying to find a groomer closer to where I have moved so this was my first time there. The groomer (Joey) who said he was the owner clipped her nails and clipped 2 of them too short causing them to bleed. He told me about it and said he put styptic on them. By the time I got home, the dog had bled all over everything in my truck and house. It took me forever to get the bleeding to stop using wet cloths and corn starch. I immediately called Joey and told him what happened. He did not seem concerned at all about the dog bleeding so bad and the fact blood was all over everything. He did not apologize and, until I mentioned that fact to him and after saying I was sorry I paid him to create this problem, he told me I could come back and get my money but, only today. I now have to watch and make sure my dog does not get an infection. I have had her nails clipped at other places where I use to live and never had this problem. I am so upset and worried for my dog right now. This was a horrible experience. I would not take any animal I loved to this place.
we took our long haired matted cat and they did a great job, would def go back
Wouldn't even give it a star honestly. My dog is very sick in her old age. I specifically asked if they could TAKE HER OUT every hour because she's on diaretics, which keeps fluid from building up on her heart and lungs. the women I spoke to said yes multiple times that it wouldn't be a problem. When I came to pick her up I asked how many times she had went and the same women said "oh well there's slates in the bottom so if they go it's no problem so I'm not sure" so I asked if she even took her she replied "oh I didn't know that's what you meant" how you could not know is absolutely beyond me when she got into my car she was dripping urine. She couldn't control her bladder. She now drips all the time. She also still had dirt on her, which I washed her myself now so she's clean, and parts of her were incredibly short cut, and other parts weren't cut hardly at all. We've been taking our dogs there for over 10 years. I am astounded. They have lost my family's business. I get having a bad day but if a old literally last stage of heart failure, so doing everything how it needs to be done is the way to keep her out of pain and discomfort, dog comes in and your not equiped to handle it, next time say so. That's all I wanted was an honest answer. All of this was inexcusable.
We took our first puppy (a Cockapoo) here from a recommendation from a friend and loved the results so far. They played with him out in the open for a while to make him feel comfortable, and he seems to enjoy coming here - never anxious to leave or hesitant to go inside so we know he's in good hands.
His first haircut was adorable, complete with a bandana, and they gave us some tips on how to train him to be easier to groom. They even remembered him for his first maintenance visit (which is well worth it). Definitely recommended.
