Absolutely the most frustrating landlord in my life. If you call, email or go to the office you get the same answer. "You have to call this other person, or that's the wrong email or they don't work today" spend weeks dancing around money they owe me. I only gave them one star because that was as low as you can go. -7 stars.
He came the next morning, and took an hour or two, even though he literally told us there was nothing wrong anymore with our toilet, except for the fact that the water doesn't stop.
Realtor has a listing in our neighborhood. Real estate agent parks in no parking zones and encourages contrators to do so. When asked not to, she doesn't move or stop the behavior and is rude to neighbors. I would never do business with this company with this type of concern for the neighborhoods in which she operates.
Ive also emailed them about how I feel unsafe in our apartment, and asked if they have a bolt they can provide. They never emailed back.
When we moved in, our kitchen sink was clogged and the garbage dispenser wasn't working. Our bathtub was also clogged, and it took them awhile to get to us.
Tried calling the maintenance and the management, but as always, it just goes straight to voicemail.
Management sucks
I have moved around quite a bit in KCMO and have lived in different apartments under different managements, but ARKC is by far the absolute worst.
He said he fixed it, but what happened was now we have to hold the flush longer for it to actually flush, and the water won't stop going! Aside from that, we have just discovered that our toilet has a leak! From god knows how. We think it's in the base of the toilet and obviously maintenance messed it up. Ever since he "fixed" it our floor around the toilet has been always wet even when nobody's been home the whole day.
A week ago our toilet was clogged, and we were told it's likely because the building is old. We called them in the morning, they said they'll send someone right away, but nobody came even when we called twice in the afternoon. Mind you, we only had one toilet in the apartment. So we ended up fixing it our own. Once it was fixed, maintenance finally called around 7pm or 8pm and asked if it still needs fixing. He said he will come by tomorrow morning to check it.
Stay away from this management. This has been the worst management ever.
Management and maintenance, even emergency maintenance are extremely hard to get ahold of.
