Great school with a reputation of quality instructors. I'm a 1982 graduate and habe fond memories of my years. The late principal Dr. Kahler, was a compassionate man with the utmost respect to all.
Oak Park High Doesn't even deserve one star. The school is horrible. The education is bottom of the barrel. You would be better off homeschooling your kids. Teachers act like there in it for the money. I wouldn't send my dog here if I had to.
THIS SCHOOL IS THE WORST I HAVE BEEN TO A GOOD SHARE OF SCHOOLS AND THIS IS THE WORST. THE STAFF ARE NOT NICE THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN ATTITUDE AND THEY DO NOT HELP STUDENTS LIKE THEY SAY THE WANT TO. DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KIDS HERE.
1987 Graduate. Great school with great teachers. Well a couple of them werent so good. Lol. But most were awesome!
Great school. Good selection of educational experiences, and extracurricular activities. Welcoming front office and maintenance staff, amazing faculty, great atmosphere. Minimal negative student experiences. Not a perfect school, but one where differences are accepted, excellence is recognized, and hard work is encouraged. Some difficulties are seen in fairness of support for all activities unfortunately. Overall a good school.
