I came to Rockhurst from a public school knowing no one. Thus, it was rather difficult to get to meet people at first. To be honest, I disliked Rockhurst my freshman year and even the beginning of my sophomore year. But, once I started to meet more people I loved this school. By my junior year I was the leader of various clubs and was friends with the majority of my class. My advice is to hang in there if you feel like an outsider your first couple of semesters at Rockhurst because it definitely gets better.

In 8th grade I was forced by my parents to attend Rockhurst. I had no interest in attending a private all-male high school; however, after only one month I never wanted to leave because I loved it so much. I highly recommend that you at least preview the school to see all they have to offer your son. A Rockhurst education does not just pay dividends for college, but after college as well. The alumni association is the best in the city when compared to other high schools in the area.
