Let me tell you. I Love this Price Chopper!!! The staff is always nice, helpful and courteous. The food and merchandise are great. But the thing that really makes this a special store is the Head Baker Kay. This woman is absolutely AMAZING!!! Honestly. I have been a constant price chopper costumer for years, I have been all around the city trying to find a talented Baker who's love for their craft shows in their work. I have been there and tried this at other price choppers and was sorely and painfully remise at the results, dry, bland and tasteless cake and no imagination or dedication to the craft of creation. I came to this Price chopper in January by happenstance. I went to the bakery to get a snack for myself and my child. I was the demo cakes that were displayed and thought to myself, wow whoever made those cakes is super talented. I was apprehensive about trying another price chopper bakery after being burnt by the results for years, but something told me this was different.
I ordered a speciality cake for my youngest daughter second birthday. Although she couldn't put Super Why on the cake because of licensing, we made the cake with similar artwork. It turned out BEAUTIFUL. It was better than I expected, better than I could have hoped for, it was truly and honestly a work of culinary art. When we cut the cake, it was just what I asked for, the cake was moist, flavorful and delicious. We didn't have a single piece left over and everyone was saying how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it tasted. So I ordered another speciality cake for my son's 10th birthday, it was made to look like Minecraft. The results was another ball hit out of the stadium!!! The cake was SPECTACULAR, she went above and beyond AGAIN and hit it right on the Mark. Again the cake was so delicious, everyone wanted more than one piece!! So I went back a third time for my eldest daughters birthday cake. Another speciality, this time was a unicorn cake. This time I was privileged enough to meet her, told her how much I LOVED her work and how Wonderfully Spectacular her creations are. And that I have told everyone who would listen to come to this Price chopper for her spectacular cakes. We talked about the shortage of fondant and they she wouldn't be able to make the horn and ears without it, but everything else she would be able to do. I said that was fine and just thanked her for her time and effort. When I picked up the cake, to my surprise she had figured out a way to get the horn and ears on the cake even without the fondant. I could have cried right there. She hit it out of the park, once more. Surprising me and my guests. I order cupcakes and an emoji face cake as well and both of those turned out so beautiful and were delicious as well.
Needless to say, I will be returning not only for the cake and bakery goodies, but for the atmosphere period. It's honestly one of the best stores I've been too.
Great and reliable service. I go here for my regular cleanings, and recently I had to get in for an urgency. My tooth cracked and they got me in as soon as they could, did a temporary fix. And got me scheduled for a permanent repair ASAP.
