Ordered the sea bass, usually don't get sea food in Kansas but they said it was flown in this afternoon. It was delicious! Highly recommend!
Had a very enjoyable time. The harvest wine was great and I am not a big white wine fan. The happy hour small plates were wonderful. Would definitely go back!
Bizarre service. It's NYE at 9pm. It's not very busy, a regular crowd. To start with, one of the three bartenders, barely spoke to us at the bar, too frazzled to care about taking our order. Finally, she brought me a bottle of the wine I chose and told me I hope you don't want more than one glass because it was all of it that they had left. Thankfully, it was awful so I picked something else. We we seated in a dark side room, passing open tables in the jubilant main dining room. Our server heard our complaints about the worst table in the restaurant, and told us it was quieter in this area. Yes, that was the problem. As expected, we were ignored, and service was slow. Our server didn't check on us and we had to ask for refills in empty water glasses. My short rib entree was ok but nothing like the picture... a dollop of cheese grits and 4 or 5 black carrots. My husband's steak was mostly gristle and fat. We had to ask about dessert and was told she'd be out shortly to make a presentation of options. We asked that she bring coffee, but told her to forget about when she said she'd have to make a new pot. How is that something you tell a customer?!?! Like, it was an inconvenience. She we asked for the check and told her we would forgo the dessert. She repeatedly asked if we were sure..... Pretty sure! She took so long to get our check, nothing like I've ever seen before. We were well-dressed, polite, genuine....and treated pretty poorly, from start to finish. We won't be back, and I'll be sure to recommend my friends and family stay away from this overrated establishment, as well.
They have a great happy hour 3 - 7 Monday through Friday. $5 small plates, lamb, duck, meatballs, shrimp scampi, chicken skewers and more. $5 wine, $4 beer, $6 -7 cocktails or $15 for flatbread and two glasses of wine. Definitely make a reservation so you don't have to wait. The lollipop lamb small plate was my favorite. We also had Braised Beef Rib and Shrimp & Grits and they are so good. Our server, Brett, was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We hope to get him next time. Oh, and if you have a food allergy, this is the place to go.
Our 2nd time dining here. We enjoyed lunch while shopping the Country Club Plaza. The BBQ Meatloaf and Brunch Burger were just the right entrees. Nice intimate atmosphere.
