We had a great time during our visit to one of the few places in KC to feel like you aren't in KC. Literally like going somewhere else for the duration of your visit. Drinks are impressive, and probably a step outside of your typical comfort zone, but in a good way. Take some friends and order everything. Thanks for a great time!
Great vibes and felt like I was in a tropical escape! Drinks were very good and fancy. It has a huge rum menu so be sure you like rum waking into it. Amazing service and loved the whole atmosphere! I'll definitely be back again!
The atmosphere was awesome. It was girls night out and our first time here. Wanted to do something different and this place is definitely different. Love the seating and decoration. Apparently though we are not Rum girls because all three drinks we tried were terrible. The painkiller and zombie tasted more like whiskey to me. My friend tasted a lava bowl at the next table and said it was good so we asked if we could switch them out but they said no because they were too expensive to make so if you go and are more of a vodka drinker, just know you may not like the drinks. I would definitely go back though. I just wish the management was a little more lenient or customer service oriented. We gave our drinks to the next table though so at least they didn't go to waste! Fun memories overall!
This place is reservations only and only open Wednesday through Saturday. That being said, it is totally worth the effort. No food is served but there are about 2 dozen cocktails to choose from. All the drinks I've tried are top notch, and boozy to boot. The drinks average around 12 dollars, but they are stiff so you are getting your money's worth. They also have a rum list if you prefer straight up spirits. The service and atmosphere are great as well.
LOTS of fun. Be sure to make reservations! We were here on a Thursday night and it filled up. They only let in a certain number, so best to just reserve a spot. Great drinks, they are delicious and potent. Everyone is wonderfully friendly, and the decor is excellent. I went here on my birthday, and the bartenders took care of me! :) Also...a dolphin banana. Seriously.
