Great as usual. Dr. stout and his team have stabilized my Maculat degeneration and I did not need an injection on this visit and am not due back for 6 weeks. Now I see Dr pate on the 22nd to check my glasses. I am very happy with all my dealings at Discivet Vision.

He stays current on medical procedures and although his area of expertise is "eyes", he considers the "Whole Person" in the treatment of his patients. Too bad there are only 5 stars on this review. Called to set up a consultation for lasic. Was told I need an eye exam prior to qualifying for a consultation appointment. Went ahead and did the eye exam where the dilated my eyes to get extra measurements for the lasic consult. Went back today for the actual lasic consult. Sat in a room for over an hour with not a single word as to why I was waiting so long. Doc finally came in and told me I was incorrectly informed, I do not need an eye exam, this was an eye exam. He said I need to have my eyes dilated for this exam as well (was just dilated less than a week ago and told they got all the measurements they needed) His excuse was that the other doc I saw doesn't do lasic consults and I need to be dilated again. The staff can't even figure out what the prerequisites are for lasic, definitely won't be trusting them to operate on my eyes. Poor customer service and was given contradictory information on either one or both of my visits. (Also, when I asked the front desk if waiting over an hour to see the doctor was standard, she said well maybe, just depends on how far behind he is)
Every time I go here they have issues with correctly billing my insurance. I have been off my parent's plan for 6 years and they keep sending them a bill. Huge hastle each time and this time I had to cancel my appointment. Waste of time for me to take off work and drive out there and not be seen for an eye exam.
