I came in the morning soon after opening and they had me out in time for work in the afternoon. The staff was empathetic and sensitive to my difficulty explaining symptoms, and embarrassment over answering personal questions.
I went in there Friday after work with bad stomach pain. The nurse practitioner was annoyed with me and saying that it's probably a stomach bug. She pushed on my stomach which caused extreme pain and she snapped at me. Saying that if it hurts that bad I should of gone to the ER. She took an xray to see if I was constipated, which I wasn't. She preceded to give me attitude that I was there and told me to go home there was nothing she could do for me. That if the pain gets worse to go to the ER but I should just stay home because it was nothing more than a stomach bug. I went home and called a nurses hotline. I described my symptoms and I was told to be taken to the ER and don't eat or drink anything. I ended up needing emergency surgery to remove my appendix. Thank you urgent care for being annoyed I was there and it was nothing but a stomach bug and not to worry.
Wait time was non-existent.
Went Sunday, Nov. 12 with a suspected broken wrist Was greeted promptly by friendly helpful staff. Had no sooner finished filling out the brief paperwork than Amalia Sola had me in a sparkling clean exam room and helped me with my medical history.
I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received and am so relieved to know Liberty Urgent Care is there if I need them ever again!
I was given advice, a quick prescription for an infection, and told that I didn't have an emergency problem (I'd been concerned it was a burst fibroid) so I should see about getting a regular general practitioner. I appreciated the honesty and their mindfulness of the bill by not giving me unnecessary tests, which can get you in trouble at these places.
My son was seen at Liberty Hospital Urgent Care by Dr. Roodhouse and had a great experience. He was kind and very thorough in the exam and instructions when he was discharged. I will go back if we ever need Urgent Care Services!
Was seen quickly by Elizabeth Carpenter. Amalia took my x-rays being super careful not to inflict any additional pain to my wrist. Elizabeth confirmed the break and explained it thoroughly, as well as showing me the x-rays. She put a temporary brace on the wrist as carefully as she could. She gave me full written instructions for care, a prescription for pain and recommendations to several physicians for followup during the week.
That was my non-emergency experience there- YMMV, of course. Would recommend.
I wouldn't go here if my insides we're spilled on the floor and on fire. Terrible experience with one of the doctor's. My daughter was seen for a sinus infection, we had waited enough time to clearly see the virus had developed into a secondary infection. She was seen by the "so-called doctor" Heybrock. Sent her home with nothing saying it was just a virus. Ya no. My wife called back to have him explain why nothing had been done for her and that she needed an antibiotic. And all he had to say was "that's awful care, and I don't provide awful care" and then hung up on her. What doctor does that?? Don't recommend due to their giant ego and vomit inducing bedside manner. -13 stars.
