I went to Swope Parkway Health Center as a walk-in patient. I felt very ill; possibly pneumonia. I received an X-ray; this would show if pneumonia was in my left or right lung ..... Or BOTH !!! I have advocated for my own body and healthcare by taking herbs, tea, Mucenx, and old meds. As of 9/12/ 2017, I still Do NOT have the results of my X-ray. Swope Parkway has helped and is helping people, human beings get well everyday; and yet I have sliped through the cracks. I Pray the CALL BACK***waiting Time of 48 is definitely changed.
I will NOT comment on my *Negative Past Experiences; my current situation will be stated.

Why is it that I feel shafted? I got to the facility at 645am this morning. There was literally 3 cards in the parking lot and ONE person in the waiting room. She was of African American decent. The security guard, of African American decent, comes outside, where I am, a few minutes after I sit down, and tells me he's already passed out ALL of his allotted dental slips for the day... I ask him where those people are that he gave passes to... He says, try again tomorrow at 6am... Didn't even answer my question... Now, as I sit here in the parking lot, 4 other vehicles pull up all of African American decent, go to the door, and he lets them right in, without slips, that I can see. They just walked right in, with no paperwork in hand. I am in pain. I have a cap that is bad and rotting, 4 cavities, bleeding gums, and haven't had a check up or cleaning in over 15 years! Where do I go, song as I do not have dental insurance and barely pay my rent with what I do make. An I just SOL because of my color? And because I am poor? I just asked a female of African American decent when they pulled up, if they had a dental pass, they said no, they are just walking in. She gets to the sliding door, the guard let's her in!!! OMFG! A white man just went to the door and he was turned away, like me!!! I must be asleep and having a nightmare! Oh, here comes another African American female. She got let right in! Maybe all the people that were let in, either with here, or made appointments that you're not supposed to be able to make here. It's first come, first serve I've been told, yet I was the second person to walk in at 645am. Where else can I go to get looked at and helped???

I had a walk in visit at the Dental Clinic. Doctor Mays was the Dentist who saw me. She was very kind and patient. She took the time to explain everything about my dental situation. Awesome doctor! Two thumbs up!

Honesty I don't understand how anybody can give this place a bad review. The dentist and the dental assistance were very kind. I'll advise anyone with dental pain to give this place a chance.
I had to go here once when I didn't have insurance, I think in 2015, I called made an appointment, went in signed in, and sure enough they called me back right at when my scheduled appoint was suppose to be, that has never happened in my hospital or dr. experience. These are actual doctors that want to be there and not get big paycheck so it's nice knowing that they really care. They did great job with everything were so nice, what a great alternative people who don't have insurance or a lot for money, would highly recommend.
