Nice, but appeared short-staffed the whole time. The "restaurant" was mediocre. Much prefer self-serve breakfast. No reason a bowl of cereal and a banana should take 10 minutes to deliver. Other than that, the rooms are very nice, very clean. The staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub were a really nice amenity. Bed/bedding were comfy. Overall, 4 out of 5.

Enjoyed the fact that breakfast was included. Nice hotel but my room had stains all over the carpet. Really the only complaint I have. Complex was nice. Little bit if a drive to Kansas City but was manageable and traffic wasn't too much of an issue. Fitness Center was decent enough, small it at least a run can be done. Staff was extremely courteous and the bed was amazing!

The heating/cooling unit is the old single room units - controls are no longer on the unit, but wall mounted. Wall control did not work, it was constantly either blowing cold air or hot air, but constantly blowing air at a high volume. They sent two women to look at it who ended up just shutting the entire unit down. No offer to switch rooms or any other solution. The women reeked of smoke so badly that the odor of stale smoke lingered long after they left.

The next morning they slip the invoice under the door and notice that there were unauthorized charges from their market that I attempted to call the front desk to get removed and never reached anyone after trying 3 different times. Went to the front desk in person to resolve and waited over 15 minutes.

spent overnight, no internet available, no microwave in my bedroom. Don't have easy access to the pool and no free continental breakfast. It feels like the amount I pay didn't do justice. Definitely not going to stay there again.

Deeply disappointed that this is a Marriott property. Check in staff was friendly, but rooms are aged. I've spent over 70 nights in Marriott properties this year alone and am happy to pay Marriott prices so long as the properties meet a certain standard. This property does not.

I've stayed here more than 20 times (probably 60 nights) this year for business. The staff is wonderful and have taken great care of me. The location is great being right off I-435 in South KC. The rooms are clean but showing their age which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. A renovation is currently underway and once that is done I'm sure I will be able to rate this hotel a solid 5.
