I go here to support a local business. Very knowledgeable about birds and their habits. We feed our birds from the back deck and I purchase all my feed here.
Bottom Line: If you are interested in anything bird related, this is where you need to go!!
Prices are reasonable and they have a program of buying 10 bags and getting one free.
Can't say enough good things about this store and the staff that works there. I just moved across town and inherited a 4 arm bird feeder cemented in the ground. I told them what I had and what kind of backyard setting I was in, and they knew right away what to recommend to me. I ended up purchasing 3 different types of feeders, 1 bird bath and their excellent seed. Less than an hour after putting all of the feeders up, I had all sorts of action on them! Chickadees, titmice, and american goldfinch. I couldn't have been happier.
Mark, Ruth, and the rest of the staff are so knowledgeable. They go above and beyond for their customers and even organize bird-walks and fun events throughout the year to get more people interested in birding. This is the only place to buy bird seed, feeders, and other related items!
Give your business to these guys, instead of some chain bird store. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and they will never try to sell you something that you don't need. I'd give them 6 stars if it was available!
