Saw A Christmas Carol here for the second year in a row. It’s a beautiful show, very professional, and you can pre-order drinks and skip the line at intermission. Awesome experience.
Last night we went to see A Christmas Carol and it was better than amazing. The entire cast was on point all night and the production was beautiful. Honestly I was expecting cheesy at best but I was wrong. I'm now thinking I should have seen something else for my first professional stage performance because this show set the bar so high! Thank you KC Rep for a wonderful experience!!
We love the size of this theater. It's much more intimate than some theaters. We got there early and were given a free backstage tour! We saw A Christmas Carol and it was incredible. The carolers brought years to my eyes at one point. Great production. I loved the use of the turning stage.
Most part staff are nice but you have to pay to see there shows
This is the Spencer Theatre (the other KC Rep Theatre is Copaken Stage downtown)-- and it's a wonderful theatre that runs quality plays and musicals. Great location on UMKC campus. Parking right at theatre is free, nice lounge area and cozy theatre. Always a great experience. My son's high school drama club gets to attend many shows inexpensively thanks to KC Rep.
