Great venue. Parking is a bit difficult, but once you're in, it's another world. If you get there early enough before your show, you can stop by one of the open bars, restaurants or stalls, to pick up snacks or seat cushions to help your night. The stage itself is magnificent. Clean and well kept area. Helpful and polite staff.
This is a beautiful venue with a charming atmosphere. Parking can be a little annoying but any concert venue is a challenge just before showtime. On site food is REALLY GOOD and affordable, hummus snack pack is almost a full cup of hummus and comes with carrots, celery and pita for only $7. Broadway shows are always excellent and there is plenty of friendly and helpful staff in every area, parking, tickets, concessions, seating. Everyone is super nice. Best seats, of course, are in the middle sections but even towards the back it's a great view and during concerts no bad seat.
Hot summer nights. New fan installations should improve air circulation. Great seats just about anywhere. Long lines to get in but concessions were quick.
Saw The Bodyguard here as our first show at Starlight. We really loved our time here! The staff was very friendly in showing us where to go, the drinks were great and the show production was amazing. Even the parking lot attendants/staff were fabulous & fun. We had fantastic seats from our friends but I'm not sure there's a bad seat in the house. The show itself was obviously amazing. Will be making a point to go back!
Definitely see a show here if you haven't already! It's my favorite place to hear live music in KC. Once you enter the park the scenery is gorgeous and the acoustics are top notch (especially for being outdoors). Parking and traffic are not an issue and it seems easily accessible for all ages.
