Been here three times and each time has been amazing! The coffee here is the ONLY coffee I have ever liked black. The food is always cooked to perfection and the servers are always excellent and super nice. The menu looks expensive until you see what you get. Small portions will easily feed 4 people and the large will easily feed 6 to 8 with food left to take home. There is no better Italian food on Earth!
Spaghetti & 1/2 lb meatball were great. Our Server was Zach and was so helpful, courteous & attentive. Great personality. They tour you past the kitchen, which was very interesting & assured us of cleanliness. Loved looking at all the pictures throughout restaurant. Definitely will return & recommend.
We've been looking forward to dinner here to celebrate our good friends birthday for over a month. We had a 7pm reservation and got our table at 7:10, which wasn't bad to me. Upon getting to the table we were greeted by a very nice and friendly server which is the only saving grace to any stars here.
Three separate couples ordered sangria; the first couple, us, got ours pretty quickly while the other two waited some time.
To be clear, our server, Stacy was great!
Good food, TERRIBLE service. Saw our waiter for a grand total of probably 2 minutes and that's probably being generous. My Google name is the same as the one on my reservation tonight (12/29/17 at 8:45pm) so hopefully they can tell which server we got. That guy is lucky he even got a tip! My girlfriend was furious and I was as well. I've been a server before and even on my worst day I wasn't half this bad. Save yourself the trip and expense as you can easily make most of their dishes yourself. In short, painfully average Italian restaurant. Terrible service. Okay-good food. P.S. they say the large serves 5 but my girlfriend and I both had appetizer plates and after our first serving the whole thing was almost done. Appalling experience. Not worth it.
Let me just say that the $94.99 price tag ($113.99 after tip) for my husband and I to have dinner certainly was not worth it.
We got our orders in and excitedly waited for our food. And waited, and waited, and waited. Then when the food started to come out we noticed that the majority of things were burnt, one person's order of create your own pasta was totally wrong and the worst part of it all was the birthday boy didn't even get his lasagna.... It took almost 30-40 minutes to get his lasagna, which we opted to have boxed to go. The birthday boy and wife also decided to have the cake boxed to go as we were all well over this entire experience.
My family visits Buca several times a year for special occasions. Unfortunately we will no longer be making trips to Buca after the poor service our last visit. We had experienced some service issues during our visit so we asked to speak to the manager. Immediately upon arriving to our table the manager began yelling at us and would not listen to what issues we had during our visit. She left only to return a few minutes late to yell at us some more. I called the next day to speak to the restaurant manager, only to be put off for three days before I was able to speak to the manager. This conversation went almost as poorly as the service at the restaurant. He displayed no desire to listen to how we were treated and showed no interest in apologizing. I was told he would look into what happened and call me back, I have never received a call back. If you like good customer service with your meal I highly recommend somewhere other than Buca.
