Just stop. Stop right now. Don't even consider going to this place, EVER. Customer service is non-existent. It takes 2-3 business days for them to get back to you. I have tanned here for about 3 years. I have used the Smithville, Barry Road, Platte City, and Excelsior Springs locations. Something always went wrong. Computers were down, spray tan was only spraying air, VersaSpa was dirty, no toilet paper, billing issues, inconsistencies with answers from employees...just a headeache. In the agreement you sign, it says that if you are a member less than 12 months you have to pay a $50 cancellation fee, your account has to be current, and you have to have a certified letter. After finally getting the owner to call me after billing issues, she explained to me that I needed to write a letter saying I wanted to cancel and get it in ASAP. I wrote a long letter and took it to my usual Barry Road location the next day. No one was there so I set it on the computer behind the desk (the one the associate's use). You never know when these things are staffed. She never said it had to be THEIR certified letter and that it had to be sent to Platte City. A month later I get a notification that I need to pay my bill. My account was never cancelled, no one called to tell me my letter wasn't going to work, and now they want more money. The letter had personal information in it and whre is that letter now?? I am a fool for putting a sliver of trust in these people. I called my bank and anything they try to charge is to be declined. I have been waiting 2 days for the owner to call me. This place sucks. I work in a place where customer loyalty is our number one goal. If something goes wrong and it is our fault we make it right. I wish I never started an account here. Who knows how long this battle will last. It is so frustrating. I will NEVER take my business here again and I will tell everyone who will hear that this is the worst place to go! If I could have zero stars on this thing I would.

I was a client at this tanning salon, and unfortunetely had to deal with the owner on several occasions. She is hands-down the most rude and condescending individual I have ever met in my entire life. I witnessed firsthand her treating her employees no better than as if they were mud beneath her feet. Clients are supposed to have "24/7" access with their membership, however, 99.9% of the time you're not even able to get into the facility. If you are lucky enough to get in the door, 9 times out of 10, the equipment doesn't even work. She is an awful person, and runs her businesses terribly. Oh and her prices are at least 10-20% higher than any other salon I've ever tanned at.
NEVER GO TO THIS TANNING SALON OR ANY OF ITS OTHER LOCATIONS!!!!!!!!!!
