Don't waste your dime. AAA doesn't care what your problem is. We have the pkg. that includes towing 100 miles. When we got the pkg., the woman told us that we could use it within 24 hours. They towed our car to a place three miles from the house and the place wanted $1,500.00 to fix a $200 problem. We don't have that kind of money. We found a place 50 miles away that will fix the car for $275.00, we wanted the car towed there. AAA said we only had the basic pkg in the system. Even though our payment had already cleared the bank for the superior pkg. We talked to at least 7 different ppl with AAA, they were uncaring of the problem and were intent from the start not to try and help solve the problem. They told me there was a seven day waiting period before we could use the more expensive benefits that were included in the pkg we bought. The car repair place is charging $200 a day for everyday our car is left there. So I ask if we could have the car towed back to our house? NOPE! AAA says it is not their problem if we can't afford something, and they will not tow your car to save you money. Seriously??? What the hell is the purpose for having a service you only pay money for but can't use? My husband and I both have serious health issues and need to able to get to a hospital at any time. I used a taxi service two times yesterday to get meds and it cost us $94.50. So, I will be looking into other alternatives for roadside assistance, that will actually do what they advertise they will do. We lived in Germany 10 years and had ADAC and I can tell you, they run circles around AAA and could teach AAA a few things about running a roadside assistance. Never one time in 10 years had a single issue with them. They were there within minutes and would go out of their way to take care of any problem. Not the case with AAA; they go out of their way to not help. So, we lose our car our pay a tow truck to tow our truck to another facility. Which, I will have to borrow money to pay another tow truck. Should never have purchased this service.
Called to find out if the office has notary. I called right near closing and the lady who answered was patient, helpful, and provided good information. I give a five star because I had other places answer with curt and unhelpful information when it's time to close.
I can't say enough about the travel agents/travel services at the Boardwalk location. They were well informed and worked with me and my son to do a complicated flight connection between Kansas City and Manila, Philippines.
