Nice hotel. We had a light shining right in our room that the blinds didn't cover though
Front desk reception was kind, hotel was quiet, very clean. Beds were comfy! Breakfast was surprisingly way better than we expected and good - and the gentleman who works overnights was absolutely one of the kindest people I've ever met. I believe his name was John - told us all sorts of cool things to do in Kansas City! I'll be back to check them out :)
We stayed in room 303. The heater didn't work for long. It shut off after one minute or two of using it. The laundry room had a washing machine full functional but the dryer was out. Staff explained to my boyfriend, customers said, "if you do two rounds of drying it would be dried." That didn't work. Don't fall for the trap. I recommend you not wasting your quarters on the dryer until they actually get it fixed. We ended up laying our laundry by the fan in the room to get it somewhat dried and that seemed like the better first option. Great breakfast. The staff were well behaved and mannered for the most part. All the guest at breakfast happened to be all Military personel "out of uniform". There was a printing room but it had no paper in the printers.
A pretty grimy hotel for the price. Could have stayed at much better place for maybe 20 bucks more. The room was underwhelming and the bathroom was not very clean. The lone elevator shut down so the entire hotel had to take the stairs to and from their rooms. The free breakfast was free for a reason. Only saving grace was free parking and quick check in and out.
It was terrible. First, it’s not in a very nice location. Then, upon entering it smells like a sewer. We found roaches in our room. My fiancée went downstairs to ask for another blanket because ours had cigarette burns and I was too paranoid to lift the covers in fear of another roach, and they told him they won’t give out extra blankets. So I “slept” with his jacket as a blanket. Then when we were leaving we found several more roaches on our dresser just running around. It was the worst stay I’ve ever experienced. Definitely not worth the 75$ I paid.
