We had a good stay here because of the great staff, central location, nice room, and breakfast. Breakfast is good and was about what you expect (juice, cereal, fruit, pastries, self-serve waffles...) They have a hot breakfast but only two heated pans, so don't expect bacon everyday here (you might get biscuits and gravy one day and potatoes and omelets the next). I appreciated the fresh pineapple and fresh honeydew at breakfast and also that there was always a bowl of fruit in the lobby. Be aware that they will push valet parking, which I begrudgingly accepted but wasn't convinced was necessary. Also note, that I visited during a slow week and perhaps the breakfast and parking situation is different when it's busy. The place has a swanky feel and the rooms are nicely furnished. There is no pool, but the workout room is nicely equipped. Also note, within walking distance (to the north) is a outdoor market and the Arabia Steamboat Museum.

Very clean, which is the biggest thing. Everything in it's place, no stains anywhere or bedding that looks like it wasn't properly washed. The front desk service was friendly and helpful if at times absent. A nice thing about the hotel is how close to downtown/power and light district, maybe a 10 min walk. And if you're out late, the front sliding door locks after 1am and you need a card to swipe to open, so it feels pretty safe. A little pricey but for a Saturday night downtown it's what I'd expect. Would return if I come back to town

Very clean hotel and had a very friendly staff. I would stay again. The biggest downside was there parking situation for the hotel was unclear.

Note: the lost star is largely because of the parking making the cost not competitive.

Very nice room. Very clean. Employees are helpful and cheerful. I would have given it five stars, but valet parking has to be used and that is a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel is in downtown Kansas City and parking space is limited.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. Our check in process was great. We experienced no issue. We will be back. The street parking is free on the weekends. We had no issues with parking on the street, and we didn't have to pay $16 per car per night for vallet.
