Pool was closed. It was very full and parking was an issue. Bathroom was interesting. Breakfast was great. The staff was very nice. Lady in the morning with the breakfast was on top of everything.
Staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was great with lots of protein be options. Rooms were nice with mini fridge and microwave. Only thing I disliked was cleaner for the tile. It made the floor sticky and it smelled. Asked them to clean and it was the same. Need to switch cleaner. The room doors need to shut quieter so it doesn't wake guests. They slam shut. If not for this I'd have given a 4 star.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Kansas City the night before the eclipse. The employees were all helpful and friendly even though it was crazy busy. They went above and beyond when my husband accidentally left his backpack with his work laptop in the parking lot. The breakfast lady retrieved it and turned it in to the front desk. They happily took it to the nearest Fed Ex to ship it home for us very soon after I emailed the shipping label. Great employees. Would highly recommend!
Very friendly staff. The suite rooms are nice especially for the price. Not a fan of the breakfast but it's free. If you are wanting a nice place to stay on a budget I would definitely recommend.
Normally I'm a big fan of Holiday Inn Express. This facility was typical of their properties. Looked nice, personable staff and we'll appointed. In this case, though, a deduction for a room that was cleaned half way. Sink had hair from previous guest, ironing board was out and the garbage was not emptied. Looked like it was left half done.
