Brief stay used points for a number of friends and family. Our group was well taken care of. Rooms were clean and seemed recently renovated. Bar/lounge area was good and we were well taken care of. Great reception and front desk area. Go Chiefs!
Attended a company Christmas party. The facility was quite nice and the staff was extremely attentive as expected. The valet was somewhat inconvenient due to long wait times both checking in and out, but understandably to to the shear volume of guests they had that night, due in part to our party. We didn't stay the night but can tell you it is conveniently located and again the staff was very helpful and friendly.
This was the first time to be here at the Marriott. It is a nice place. We had a get together then stayed the night. While waiting in line to get checked in, we had a guy come over and asked if we was waiting to check in. He said that they would be with us soon and sorry for our wait, didn't seem too long. Was very nice. When we was getting checked in the concierge was really nice. Said sorry for your wait then told us our room was upgraded. It looked like a nice room, a corner room at that. When we got to our room for bed I noticed some weird noises. Come to find out it was the motor for the elevator. It made the same noise every time the elevator was used. It did bother my sleep some. When we checked out I was a little surprised. We was never asked how our visit was. Although they was kind enough to upgrade us for our wait, it wasn't much of an upgrade do to the elevator noise. Don't get me wrong, this place was nice. Not sure if and when we would be back
The room was big and nice. I loved the shower but the way the door slide shut didn't make sense. I loved the barn door to the bathroom. For the price of the room I was disappointed in amenities. No pool even though pictures showed a pool, $15/day for internet, $17/day for self parking, incidentals, no free breakfast...nothing. You literally just get a room and can go work out. Our couch had a huge gross stain on it. Handle was missing off of the cabinet you hang your coats in. There we bottle caps on the floor by the couch. I wouldn't stay here again.
This place was first rate for an amazing conference. They had the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on besides home. Immaculately clean with the exception of one conference room. Jason, one of the hotels premier customer-service oriented staff had so many suggestions for things to do in town, we wished we had more time! He and the rest of the staff were just amazing! I'll stay here again!
