Great location and good breakfast and friendly front desk. That is where the good news ends....hard to believe this property carries the Marriott name. Shabby interior of the room and hallway. One bedroom suite with bathtub
Parking is free after you check in. Front desk clerk was super helpful and friendly. Showed us a map of areas within walking distance and suggested a few places that he like. Room was clean and very nice bed was comfortable. Maid service was always present when needed. Breakfast bar was well stocked and had a wide variety of fresh food and was warm. Fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, and eggs among the other items we're on the breakfast menu.
The rooms are in need of a complete gut. There was mold around the bathtub, parts of the molding around one of the doors was falling off, and there was a hole in the floor that your foot would sink about an inch into.
Stains, old caulk in tub, worn paint in vanity almost to bare wood. Old, old worn carpet that I would not walk barefoot on. Understand that it will undergo a renovation soon; estimate that should have been done 3-4 years ago. Was so embarrassed to have our local friends stop by. Marriott is my hotel of choice but I won’t book again without researching reviews. Buyer beware!
Great place and location. Parking available. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nice fire place and a kitchenette. Very comfortable set up. Breakfast was actually pretty good. Their eggs taste like real eggs cooked in butter :) just a game changer with hotel breakfasts in the past lol. chocolate Waffle?! Oh yeah! The only negative stuff that I could find is some of the furniture is a bit aged but honestly that's it. Everything was great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice hotel without selling a kidney. The hotel staff super friendly!! It was my wife's Birthday and they really made it special. So thank you very much Residence Inn!
I was here for almost two weeks while waiting to close on our house after moving from Oregon. Staff was all very friendly. We were able to have all of our dogs here (3 in total, one over the size limit), which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast was very good every day and the kitchen staff was always kind and offering to get us anything we might need. Free drinks during happy hour a few nights a week. And let's face it, after being in a studio hotel room for 12 nights...I needed it. Only reason I rated it down was that it was a little run down, and the key cards often needed multiple tries (sometimes up to 9 - yes, I actually counted) to open the doors. However, I saw sings multiple places that they were going to begin renovations the week after we left (it is probably better this way, because I didn't feel as bad about my dogs shedding all over the carpet.
We're Marriott rewards members & stay almost exclusively at Marriott properties. This is by far the worst Marriott hotel we've stayed at. The A/C didn't work, making it uncomfortably hot in our room. When we called the desk, they told us to open the window. But the window wouldn't open. So then we were told to leave the door open. All night. Because that's safe.
