Stephanie was fantastic! I stopped by to discuss Xmas gift cards. The Manager was most helpful. I decided to to stay for a quick lunch. As always at this extremely busy Denney's restaurant I received fast, friendly and accurate guest service. No wonder I always choose to come back and give my co workers gift cards. Stop by for breakfast, seasonal or a big burger and ask for Stephanie!

Nope. Rude from the get go. We got up and left after waiting to be seated for 5 minutes even though there were over 10 tables open and clean. We were made to stand at the front door and watched the guy who welcomed us with a "It's gonna be a minute." clean a table, pour multiple people a cup of coffee, grab various soft drinks, deliver some food, and then stood by a table and beckoned to us from across the way with "Are you ready?" We sat down. Sat there for a few minutes and I had had enough. We figured the Burger King across the street would be a better option. They seemed to be understaffed and apparently thought that being busy gave them an excuse to be rude. As an out of town guest who was staying in the area for a convention in K.C. I will make sure to stay downtown next time where the businesses seemed to be more hospitable, courteous, and professional.
If I could have given NO stars I would have. First off, it was cold as hell in there! Closed the shades to the window's to block the air from coming through and the hostess rudely pulled them back up, breaking it. Food got cold fast!! Drunk girl causing issues, not enough wait staff, no refills, complained of cold food and got ignored. Went to pay and credit card machine was acting stupid. Had to reboot it. Hostess very rude and offered no apology for making me wait. Will NEVER go back!!! They need a review on customer service.
I haven't eaten at a Denny's in many years. Ate here a few nights ago and the service was fine. The food is bland and low quality. The prices are too high for the quality of food. The rating of two stars is mainly because of the food quality. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and everything was cooked as it should be. I will probably avoid Denny's in the future.
