Loved the fresh local ingredients and the menu had a lot of options for a smaller place. The biscuits and gravy is unique in it's own way and not like anything I've tried before. But I fell in love instantly,try then tell your friends! The salmon scramble is awesome too, where can you get that from breakfast in Kansas City? EXACTLY!!!
Got recommended this place while at q39 for dinner and it was great! The steak and eggs Benedict was fantastic! Girlfriend was able to order a waffle and a slice of French toast which was equally great. The coffee and cappuccino were fantastic along with the very friendly staff. We were just passing through so this was a great find!
My husband and I loved our dinner! The service was outstanding, as was the food. We enjoyed the risotto to start, then a wonderful goat cheese walnut salad. I had the purple sweet potato gnocci, and he, the pork chop. Dessert was an amazing chocolate sorbet, truffle berry treat.
FIRST VISIT:
If I was wealthy, I'd eat here more. The food is great don't get me wrong. But only eat here if you're not really that hungry and have a thick wallet. I was impressed with the roasted duck and I must admit that it was probably some of the best duck that I ever had
I had never been to Room 39 but my girlfriend loves the place and decided to take us there for Brunch. We were greeted by friendly staff who made suggestions from the menu. I had the B&G which was delicious, she had salmon scrambled eggs and also enjoyed it. The location is small but cute with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a full bar, good coffee and the prices were reasonable.
