We used to love this place. The last 2 times we have been there we have had a bad experience. I am pretty sure it is more of a cook problem not a restaurant problem. The first time we had this particular cook he was drunk. Last night we went and got the same cook. We thought we would give him another chance. Big mistake! Our shrimp was burnt and crispy. My friends scallops were raw. He cleaned the grill with this rag/sponge thing and left it on the edge of the grill. Then proceeded to drag noodles across it on the way to my friend's plates. Disgusting!
Pretty good food. The chefs are very nice and the servers are too. We've been back a few times.
Good food, good atmosphere. Went on a Saturday for my kids birthday and found it to be as buys as you'd expect for a Saturday evening, luckily we had reservations. As a party of 6 we placed our order. The chef came out, did his thing, and we were served our food. No sooner than the last portion of meat was placed on our plates our server was there handing us the bill and go-to boxes. For $30 a plate I feel the atmosphere is worth the majority of the cost, but when you feel rushed to leave, that defeats the purpose of dining here.
I've been to a few Japanese steakhouse restaurants in the years, and this one is by far the best. I feel like I've gotten more food here as well as a better show than other restaurants. Their fried rice is to die for.
