Always makes room for our large group, and is a great place to meet up with friends to grab an inexpensive bite to eat.
Food is always great, especially the breakfast. Never had to wait long to get my food and the service is always nice and friendly. I came through the drive through once on my way home from the dog park. The guy at the window saw I had my dogs in the backseat and gave us a few slices of bacon for them while we waited. Little things like that are why I come back. People may complain it's "run down". I disagree, it's a throwback to old-school diners and I love it. Also the cherry limeade is amazing, waaaaay better than Sonic. Do yourself a favor and check Winsteads out, you won't regret it!
We really like their cheeseburgers & fries. They have a nice dinner salad too.. It is fairly big. My other half & I usually share it. The people are nice also.
I love this place! Best breakfast ever! It's cheap and delicious!!!! I went to Cracker Barrel once and it was soooo gross Winstead's is a million times better!!!! Their biscuits and gravy is awesome!!! Their lunch/dinner menu rocks! Nice steak burgers and shoe string fries that are awesome for dipping into a chocolate shake. EAT HERE!!!!
Food was hot and fast, friendly service, cool retro place to eat. Even the milk shake was great.
