Do NOT buy anything from here!!!! We put a deposit down on a refrigerator because our house wasn't done yet, we were told to come in the week we closed & were guaranteed delivery by that week. Well we came in to finish paying after we paid we were told they wouldn't be able to deliver our fridge for a month. Asked for a full refund, they had to get approval from the main office...of course the office was closed & wouldn't be able to get our money back until sometime the next day.
We've purchased appliances for two homes from Factory Direct Appliance and have been pleased with our purchases each time. Recently, we were shopping for appliances with a friend and found the prices to be competitive and the staff to be quite knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy just honest and helpful answers to our questions.
Terrible service. Absent minded staff. Will lie to you to get you out of the store instead of dealing with issues they created. Just read the reviews. Way more bad experiences instead of good. Wish we had messed with them. Good news is we went to Nebraska Furniture Mart. Got a better deal and next day delivery. Sad that our builder uses this company. We could have got a better price at NFM with our appliance credit.
Absolutely the worst experience with this store. Over a month before closing on our new home, we were told to go to Factory Direct to pick from 3 appliance packages which we did. After speaking with the sales rep, we were told that he would coordinate with the builder to make sure the appliances were in place before our closing date. Closing day comes and the appliances aren't there. After 4 days of unreturned messages and being told the right person wasn't working that day, I had to go into the store and demand action. I was initially told it would be a week before they could get the appliances installed (and a week more of eating carryout). Finally I was able to get my builder involved and they installed the appliances for Factory Direct after they tranfered them to the factory. My advice would be to stick with Nebraska Furniture Mart given the opportunity. If you are working with a builder who uses this company, make sure you stay on top of them if you want the appliances in place by the time you move in.
Horrible customer service. I purchased a Viking range and hood from them. According to them the range was in stock, just needed to know when I wanted it delivered, I asked for a delivery date two weeks from the date of purchase. They tried to charge me for installation after another sales rep had emailed me that install was free. When I asked about the promotion they had on Viking ranges, suddenly the range I purchased wasn't part of the promotion. They waited to the afternoon before the delivery date to tell me that they do not have the range, that it would be another 10-12 days before they got one in stock because it was in Kent, WA even though they are manufactured in Mississippi. And then they wanted me to wait an extra day to get my money back because the one finance person wasn't around, I didn't finance my purchase, I paid the full price when I ordered the range and hood, but thanks for presuming all hispanics must finance their purchases. Go anywhere else for your purchases, this place is pathetic.
