We returned around 5:15pm and asked the guy behind the counter (the same one who was yelling to the other lady, earlier), about looking at something, he said that part of the store was closed already, and the kind older lady shouldn't have told us to come back so late. He called another employee and had him open the section we were interested in, but had my wife go back and take photos of the items we were asking prices for... twice. Finally, he told her, cussing, he'd have to be the one to help us with it, but couldn't leave the register as he was the only employee that knew how to run it. There were no other customers around...
This is my most favorite place in this world next to my bed
Great experience. Staff were very helpful.
We have always had a good experience at ReStore, until today. This was our first time at the Gladstone branch (we go to the KC, Blue Springs and Independence branches, regularly), and we will not be returning.
I waited in line only to be ignored by the woman at the register. When it was clear she was more interested in yelling across the store with her coworker instead of acknowledging I was standing right in front of her, I got back in line at the other register. The older lady at this register was very friendly and helpful, and when I realized we needed to pick up our kids from school, she said they'd be open until 6pm.
Great place to find recycled house parts, building supplies, hardware, plumbing and electrical parts. They also have used furniture and accessories. I found an excellent Pulaski brand lighted curio cabinet there for $150.00, probably $700.00 at a retail store. The inventory changes, so shop often!
Incredibly frustrating. Again, not had a problem like this before, but at least we have three other stores we know we can get service at without a hassle.
Vary overpriced in there. The staff can be rude sometimes. And they like to tell costumers things work and they don’t work at all. But that doesn’t stop them from putting it out on the seals floor for crazy prices.
