WOW!! Absolutely amazing!! Largest wet find ever. Steamboat Arabia is a MUST see! Well worth the money for sure!! You go on a 45 min. guided tour and then watch a 15 min video. After that you will tour around the "boat" on your own. Very impressive! We were able to meet David, one of the owners/diggers, which was an even bigger plus. Every person here knows the history and they are eager to share. Go ENJOY!! Thanks to the good Lord for guiding these 5 willing families in this find!! We appreciate you all standing on Faith and bringing this beauty up.
Very interesting. And totally worth the admission fee! One of the excavation team, David, happened to be here today. So a few people got to ask great questions. Ashlee was a great tour guide. Well come back to bring my family/friends when they finish.
Great piece of America’s history in an easy and informative format! Worth the price of admission.
Really cool museum. The tour is very informative and thought provoking. Seeing what was able to be salavaged from a steamboat in the 1980's that sank before the Civil War is very interesting to see. They have yet to put everything out that they have excavated so the collection keeps growing. The amount of information that you can see and hear from this museum gives you a closer look as to what it took to live during the pioneer days of the United States.
The story behind the museum is fascinating. Especially the story of the poor mule!
