One of the best monuments and museums around. This museum rivals what you find in DC and surrounding areas. So much packed into a nice area of Kansas City. It showcases almost every bit of information that you could want to know and see from WWI. From timelines, weapons, uniforms, and military vehicles can be seen. This museum takes a whole day just to get everything in. The people that work there are amazing and very friendly. This should be a stop that no one misses when visiting KC.

The World War I museum gets accolades as one of the best museums overall in the country. They're well deserved. The displays themselves are packed and fascinating. The layout and features are just as incredible. Take a ride up the monument tower to see a 360 view of Kansas City. Don't miss the two buildings on the top level. You'll find art and memorabilia not just from the American forces but from the main protagonists. Below in the main floor is a museum that walks you through the chronological progression of the war. It includes videos that explain the events leading to the war and the impact it had on the people involved. If you do everything including the tower ascent, plan on at least two hours.

It’s only $16 per person. So it’s a reasonable deal. The parking is a little difficult, and you might have to walk a ways to get there however it’s worth it to see the rich history. A single ticket is valid for two days so if you don’t get it all done in day one you can go see it on day two which makes it awesome

Absolutely worth it. You can purchase tickets and still come back the following day to complete the tour and look around. This worked out great for us and our schedule. Every aspect of this was really cool and everything was laid out in an organized way. The view from the Liberty Memorial Tower is totally awesome. Parking was good and the staff was very friendly and informative.

This museum is one of my favorites. You get to enjoy so much for an excellent price. It's the kind of place you can spend the entire day in but still visit again and again to walk away learning something new. Equipped with a wonderful and informative staff, you'll leave this place thinking about the next time you get to go back. Whether you live in KC or you're just passing through, you'll never waste a day here.
