I work in a bank, so paper money usually isn't terribly interesting, but I thought this was a great experience, especially since admission is free. There are plenty of neat exhibits showing historical currency and giving details on how money is made and protected. There's a lot of interactive stuff for kids to be engaged with, and enough artifacts and statistics to keep older kids and adults interested.
A fun place to visit and learn about money! Not an all day event, but a couple hours will do the trick. Plus you get a free bag of shredded money as a souvenir.
There's not a ton to do or see. You can easily be in and out in 30 minutes to an hour. Luckily there's a lot to do nearby: WWI memorial, Crown Center, Union Station, streetcar, etc.
This place is great. So many cool features that deal with all the aspects of the federal reserve and the banking system. Fun stuff for the kids and you can't beat the price.
Great little museum - spend an hour or so here. Amazing facts and the shear volume of money they handle is incredible! Very cool display of a coin collection of each variant of coins from the 1800's and forward.
You do get to take home a free bag of shredded currency, which is pretty cool.
