This was a favorite place to visit when I lived in the Liberty, MO area. I've never been to Shoal Creek when the museum buildings were open to the public (during reenactments) however, it is still worth visiting. The history lessons, the scenery and the nearby Bison are all worth taking in.
Really beautiful place to walk around and/or take photos. Love the history and the upkeep. Seeing the bison is exciting as well!
Place is very nice but workers don't really talk no one says much anything seem kind of rood out houses were nasty horrible parking lots of room but so far of a walk from everything
Its a good sized historical hike! My family and i enjoyed the reenactments and the houses and cabins. You can bring your furry friends with you!
Great place to take kids. I have taken my kids several times and they love it. I brought some out of town friends there to view the 2017 Eclipse and everyone had a blast.
