Highly recommend this place. Dr. Bollwert and ALL the staff are so professional and never once did I feel my fur baby was not cared for. You could see and feel that entire staff's love and commitment to giving the best care and comfort to my Tillie and me!!!
Upon arrival at the center, we were greeted right away. After explaining why we were there-we needed to put our almost 15 year old dog to rest- we were placed in a room immediately. The staff was so compassionate and caring while discussing all of our options. It was so reassuring to know that our dogs’ end of life would be painless. We were told we could take as much time as needed before and after.

This place is the reason my dog is alive right now. I never write reviews, but after reading all the negative comments about this place, I feel compelled to share my experience. In March, our dog was diagnosed by our regular vet with an autoimmune disease and we were told to go see the specialists at Blue Pearl at this location. The chances of him surviving were less than 50%, but because of the love and care they provided he is not only alive, but thriving. Yes, it is very expensive. But any emergency/overnight vet is going to be expensive. Yes, sometimes there are very long waits. And yes, sometimes the messages I leave for doctors are not returned and I have to call back again. But it is because this place IS so wonderful, they have many repeat patients, and are ALWAYS incredibly busy. My dog has spent several nights there and each time we go the staff is attentive, and caring. They even took extra time out to make sure they were giving him love and attention. The veterinary staff is of the highest quality, and continually went out of their way to ask about our dog, even though he was not their patient. They allowed us to call as many times as we wanted to check on him, and encouraged us to come visit and spend time with him during overnight visits. I will never be able to thank these people enough for the love and support they provided and for saving my dogs life when it seemed impossible. This BluePearl location is wonderful and I would recommend it again and again.
The doctor let us face time with our children who are deployed over seas while our pup was put to sleep. A few days later we received a card signed by the entire staff acknowledging our loss. We are so thankful for such compassionate and caring staff.
2 years ago, our dog was sent here for imaging test and ultimately diagnosed with cancer. We were instructed by the doctor to feed him a good diet as our dog was already 12 and any treatment would negatively impact his quality of life. Well, we took that advice and fed our dog chicken, rice, and potatoes and he lived another 2 years without any problems other than weight loss and arthritis. Then, our dogs face and paws got suddenly swollen. We took him to our normal vet who shamed us for having such a sick looking dog by saying, "well, you waited way too long on this one" and told us "I don't know what you want me to do" and "I'm not smart enough to tell you why he's swollen." My husband and I were infuriated. We went straight to Blue Pearl. They listened to our dog's history, read over his charts, let us know that the swelling was due to the cancer spreading to his lymph nodes. They were compassionate and gentle when they recommended euthanasia. They made a terrible experience manageable and didn't make us feel guilty for letting our dog live out his years even if he didn't look great doing it. Great service. The vet was extremely informative and knowlegdable about cancer.
I don't think this place is awful but I do believe things could be better. The wait time was very frustrating for one. I also felt very pushed out the door when the vet finally came in. Things were not explained well and there was lack of empathy. Lastly I feel there prices are higher then a lot of other vets in the area. On a positive note the staff was nice and when I returned in the morning to discuss my concerns with the office manager was very pleasent and understanding and we were able to come to terms. One thing to remember is there are multiple vets there and they are all different. Our first experience was better them the second but still was a long wait and both were ER visits.
