Dr. Exline is the equivalent in the animal world of what Blessed Mother Teresa is to the religious one. Besides being a superb surgeon he has an excellent clinical ability to diagnose problems. Add to that a truly compassionate personality and the ability to explain things to you in English and in a manner that you enjoy is truly amazing! We've been taking our exotic pets there for over 10 years and consider ourselves fortunate to have a resource like Dr. Exline to call on when we need him. He's set broken bones for our pets, removed tumors, even extracted teeth surgically. He also stays up on current advances in veterinary science which is something I consider extremely important. Would you want to go to a doctor that had not learned anything new in 20 years????
The place is VERY clean. I have severe dog and cat allergies, and despite the presence of dogs and cats, I didn't sneeze once. It also feels well ventilated.
Very friendly stay and Knowledgable Vets. I have been taking my dog and 2 cats to Dr. Reed for four years now any he is very good. He always answers my questions and has wonderful things to say about my pets. I recommended a friend to them when she moved to the area and she loves them too!
I have a rescue dog with a serious medical condition. They have treated her ok, but did over medicate at one point which a second opinion vet corrected. When I went to renew her meds that they prescribed, I was told that they no longer deal with on line pharmacies and it was on their web site. Well, I do not read their website daily and thus I missed the two day notice they gave on the policy change. To make a long story short, they have put my dog at risk of running out of her medicine. I can not get the medication at a local pharmacy. Even when I made the choice of pharmacies, they refused to even verbal ok the script. I guess to be politically correct is more important than the need to care for my dog. I will go elsewhere.
I have a rabbit, which is an exotic animal, and they have two vets who are trained to handle exotics (they also treat dogs and cats of course). They also have two technicians who are trained to handle exotics, and who own bunnies themselves (and clearly love them).
We love this vet! Personally, I don't think the prices are any different from most other vets; no, it's not cheap, but animal care never is. They are very patient with questions -- and we had TONS of them! -- and clearly care about the animals that they're serving. I really trust them because they are so thorough and gentle.
It is clear that the people who work here love animals. I was completely satisfied by my experience with them and recommend them to any pet owner.
I had a fantastic experience at Kansas City Veterinary Care.
Our vet, Dr. Diehl, was excellent. He seemed very comfortable with my rabbit, and spent time talking to us, and making sure our questions were answered, and we understood everything. I didnt feel like the visit was rushed or incomplete.
I was able to get a routine check up appointment easily by calling a week in advance, but I spoke with a woman there, who had called that morning about a sick bunny, and they were able to fit her in that evening. Yes, I said evening, because two days a week they are open until 8pm, which is super convenient for people who work 8-5.
