Platte Woods is great! They take wonderful care of my dog for his health care and Shelly does an awesome job with his grooming. It's truly a joyful place filled with people who love what they do. I have always received excellent service!

I've been taking my dogs here for over 10 years. I switched vets and ended up going back because of the great vet doctors care & service. I won't be changing again. Plus, they're building a new structure that will be beautiful when finished!
How does this place have a good rating? I'm disgusted by the way this place treated my family. I came home from work and my 4 year old cat was not breathing well, so with limited time to get him seen we walked into here 15-20 min before closing time but we were turned away and referred to the emergency vet without even so much as a peek to determine if our situation was dire or not . If you guys want to close at 5:30, change your hours. In the least, have the common decency to do a welfare check before dismissing anyone. I shouldn't have to say this, but anyone who works in patient care should be caring and compassionate. No one should ever feel like we felt especially when one of your family members are in distress. We ended up making it to a competitor with 5 min before closing. They met us at the door and took care of us immediately, they were compassionate, caring, and treated us with respect. You could take a page out of their playbook. We will never ever set foot inside this building and I will make sure none of my friends do either. Sadly we live close.
Great vets, terrific staff. They always accommodate when my animals are sick, they return calls quickly, and overall they are just really nice people. I could write volumes on all the things they've done for my pets over the years. LOVE THEM!
